About that a mix with mags + models in JTV may be on at the same time????

Have you tried turning the volume down on the JTV59P when using the acoustic models? I found they sounded better if did not have the volume at max. Experiment with the volume control as well as the Tone Control for mic placement simulation and see whether the sound cleans up at lower volumes.

There is no amp model in the preset. Very muddy sound though, lots of mid and bass ring . I am new to this, but Im a professional musician, so I guess Im not imagining these issues, but I could be doing something wrong for sure.

When you say a clean preset, do you still have an amp model? For an acoustic patch, I would try a preset without an amp model.

Regarding the strumming, I'd say that in general the acoustic models work better with a light touch. You don't need to dig into them nearly as much as you would as with a real acoustic guitar. I don't know about the latency issues. I've not really noticed before.

How do you download it on to the pod 500, and where do I look for it on the pod, or do I download it on to the JTV59.

This patch works pretty well for me through my PA. I'm using a jtv59 and pod hd 500. It's too bright through my DT50 but sounds great to me through my PA. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/208422/

I`d like to add I dont think the accoustic settings like to be strummed. Everything clouds up, and latency issues kick in especiall in the dropped tunings. Im becoming very dissapointed.

The acoustic sound from my JTV59P is very basey sounding. Im using a pod 500 through a clean preset. Even with EQ with most of the bass and low mid off and high frq turned up alomost to max it still sound bad. I also find there is latency when using the half tone down etc. Unuseable at the moment. Any thoughts ?
