I did it on windows and it worked.... I have no idea why my mac side of my harddrive wouldn't update it.

I just tried that. Nothing happened. I've attached the pictures of the left two windows of the M13 in flash update mode and SysEx Librarian window.

Try doing the update without connection the MIDI in of the adapter into the M13's MIDI out. In other words, just have the MIDI out of the adapter going into the M13's MIDI in. You don't really need to have two way communication to perform the update.

I have a Mac Book Pro that I'm running Mountain Lion on. I just bought my M13 a few weeks ago, but it only has firmware version 1.02 on it... I want to update it to the most recent firmware which I think is 2.04. I downloaded SysEx Librarian. I have tried everything to update the firmware but it won't help. The MIDI to USB connector is a Hosa Technology USM-422. The USB is plugged into my computer and the MIDI ins and outs are plugged into my M13 correctly. Everytime I hit play in SysEx, the M13 just says "waiting command..." in Flash Update Mode.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated!
