Have you worked your way through the setup here yet --> http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2522? If not, it is worth doing so because there are some level drops that need to be compensated for, mainly around the input, that can cause the tone to sound quiet and/or thin.

Try this first (if you have not already) then come back if you still have an issue.

Hey all, I'm looking to use my HD500 with my Suhr Badger 30 which has a serial effects loop. I find that just connecting the POD to the amp using the 4CM (with no effects set with the output set to studio/direct), I get a pretty noticiable volume drop as compared to just plugging the guitar intot he front of the amp. I have the outs set to line level and the master is set at 100%.

Is there a recommended way to balance the volume?
