These 4 videos attempt to show users the difference between using the POD Farm software in the two different modes of operation:
POD Farm Standalone (Videos #1-3)
Note: the only devices that allow for Standalone operation of POD Farm software are GuitarPorts, TonePorts (GX, UX1, UX2, KB37, UX8) and POD Studios (GX, UX1, UX2, KB37) USB hardware devices.
If you own a PODxt (Bean, Live, Pro) with the optional POD Farm Plug-In license key installed or a POD X3 (Bean, Live, Pro), you will NOT be able to run POD Farm software in Standalone mode. Your device only allows for the usage of POD Farm Plug-In within an audio recording application (DAW) that supports VST, AU or RTAS plug-in effects.
POD Farm Plug-In (Video #4)
(requires launching the effect within a host Digital Audio Workstation/DAW program that supports VST, AU or RTAS plug-ins)
