TonePort KB37 Audio issue...

Hello, i'm from Mexico and my english is not very good.

I have a Dell XPS with i5 processor, 6Gb ram and Windows 8 pro x64, Cubase 5 x32 bits, Wavelab 6 x32 bits...

I don't know why since I upgrade Windows from 7 to 8, the audio input and output of my KB37 crackles all time with any software, including windows media player...

Is a problem to use software 32bit inside 64bit OS? Is something wrong with the driver compatibility?

The crackle noise increase when i open a new window, maximize or minimize them and when I set the audio driver to 24 or 32 bits.

I have connected the KB37 in a usb3 port, could this affect?

I just started plugging in and installling everything that comes with the kb37 and it's going well, i can play guitar using gearbox but here's my question: what software do you need to install to be able to play piano and drum beats and everything with the kb37 keyboard

The all-familiar pitch wheel problem

Can anyone on here walk me through opening up the KB37 and disabling the pitch wheel? Mine, like others here have mentioned, isn't stable and I don't care because I never use it anyway.

I have NO IDEA why it's the only controller you can't disable via software but at this point I'm so aggravated I don't care.

I know it'll void my ( now expired anyway ) warranty.

Help.

Considering buying POD Studio™ KB37 which seems to tick the boxes for me; my last 2 keyboards were Edirol PCR-M80's running off an M-Audio 1010lt and I had the Edirol dead keys problem; I use Win7 64bit and, prior to pressing the buy button - decided to check the Line 6 forums.

I'm reconsidering mainly due to the lack of line 6 support; desperate users with problems using Win 7 64 bit for example which seem to have been ignored, and they had posted the same problems for 6 months or more. Has this changed, has support improved or am I missing something?

I'm a hobby musician with limited funds and expect reasonable support as part of the purchase and from what I have read, unless things have improved, Line 6's customers are often ignored.

I would really appreciate your feedback.

Live 8 doesn´t offer me to pick my KB 37 on Surface Control options

Hello,

i am doing great tunes with my Line6 KB 37, BUT, I can´t play it live because i can´t use the control knobs.

When i go to the Control Surface options menu in Preferences\MIDI Sync the option KB 37, Toneport 37 or Line6 is not available. I am controling MIDI with the KONTROL49 and I am unable to control anything with the knob controls.

Please i need your help since i have to perform live this thursday.

Just got my line 6 kb37 (used). Latency issues, sure, though its surprising that I get NO AUDIO at all below a certain latency.

Mainly I'm concerned with this midi problem. It seems that every time I play more than 1 note at once, the first note sustains forever (until I hit the panic button).

I'm going to try some different software but I've already tried a bunch of instruments all with the same result.

Is this a hardware issue?

KB37 starts acting weird after three months

Hi,

I have used my POD Studio KB37 in about three months now without any problems. But now when I connect the thing and start up POD Farm can I barely here the guitar if I not turn up the volume to full, and there's also lots of latency and it sounds like an extreme echo or reverb. Also when I play recorded stuff in Ableton through the KB37 is there the same sound, but not when I play it as usual through my speakers.

Everything is updated with Monkey.

I have no idea on what to do, and now my little baby just standing there and I cannot use it to anything but as a decorating.

I'm new proud owner of kb37. I can't get output from Cubase if I switch MIDI from Microsoft GS Synt. to KB37.

Any ideas?

I have a KB37 and it works well with Ableton SW.

I am trying to get a number of sounds out of it (need Violin) by incorporating the use of Reason Adapted as a slave.

No luck - can't get it to work.

Is there a listing of the available sounds using kb37, ableton and reason?

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

Hi guys,

Three days ago i purchased KB37 and I have been using it untill now. The problem is that when i turned on everything today, the volume was extremly low, and only when every possible knob is max i hear any sound. Is that the issue of broken KB37?

I own a kb37 and I used it for audio recording, works pretty well, but now I'm trying to make the keyboard work and I just can't make it happen.In Cubase 5, I'd made a midi channel with synth, the input says "2- line 6 toneport kb37" and the output is on the synth, but there is no midi signal while playing the keyboard,though the channel is monitored. when i write notes directly on cubase I can hear the midi sounds, only the keyboard doesn't work. neither the 1-4 bottons and knobs, the octave select and the play/stop etc.. what should I do to make it work? I'll be very happy for any help, thnx:)
