QUESTION REGARDING M9

I have a problem with the M9, can't store 3 effects in one scene related to one switch. What I mean is to have 3 effects 1 one tap. Who knows how can I do this?

I've been having fun with my m13. And I do feel the difference in sound when connecting to my amp INPUT or FX/LOOP.

Have anyone tryed connecting 2 simultaneous M13. One in front the AMP (INPUT) for Overdrives and Filters

and another one to the FX/LOOP forr Modulations and Delays? So you can get an array of 8 effects.

It sounds I can do that, but in other post there is a comment that in that configuration you only get 2 different sets of 4 simmultaneous effects?

Did I miss something?

Any comment is welcome....! (And By the way its not G.A.S)

i really see little support here for this unit. the discussions are old, the video tutorials are for m5 and m9. there are no user settings or artist settings. I just bought an m13. Is this a dead or dying product?

M9/M13 scene load/backup

PC USERS, Windows XP & Vista:

Saving Scenes:

1. Run MIDI OX. You can do so from Start > Program Files > MIDI OX.

2. Set "Pass Sysex" & "Start Display" to On: Click the 'REC' & 'SYX' at bottom right so it is highlighted blue.
2. Now go to View > Sysex
3. Go to the Sysex menu & select "Receive Manual Dump." When selected, you will see a window appear waiting on info from the M9/M13.
4. In Setup Menu of M9 (Press the 3A and TAP buttons at once, then press the MODEL SELECT knob 3 times) or the M13 (hold the 'Looper Controls' button), select 'Dump All' to backup all your scenes or 'Dump Edit' to backup the one scene you have currently selected. Press down on the 'Model Select' knob to begin the dump. Click 'Done' in MIDI OX when complete.
5. Under the 'Display Window' of MIDI OX, click 'Save As' and save it as a Sysex file type.

Loading Scenes:

1. Run MIDI OX

2. Under the 'Command Window' menu, select 'Load File'. If you are attempting to load an individual scene, it will be recalled to your current scene location, so change to the scene location on the M9/M13 you would like to overwrite.
3. Again, go to the 'Command Window' menu & select 'Send/Rec Sysex.' The display on the M9 (FX Unit 4 on the M13) will flash 'Receiving MIDI - Standby.' Once complete, your scene(s) are now loaded. You do not have to set anything on the M9/M13, it will simply load the individual scene to the current location or load all the scenes in one shot once it receives the file.

**Note - Using 'Send Sysex' does not work. MIDI OX screen will read 'Sysex Receive' although it is sending to the M9/M13.

M9 - Good OC-2 and auto wah effects?

Greetings. I have been thinking about picking up the M9 this week, but have a quick question first.

The two effects that would be really helpful, so that I literally make this my only pedal, would a real good auto wah and a nice OC-2 emulator.

Any opinions on these two specific effects for the M9? Are they both there and are they both awesome I really hope so! I REALLY like the idea of not having to bring any extra pedals to a gig, but would need some really nice versions of these on board the M9 to make that a reality.

Good example EQ settings in M9/M13

Can anyone provide me with some good example uses of the EQ pedals in the M9/M13? Can you get good jazz or country tones using one of these? What is the best use of the Mid-Focus EQ? Any examples or suggestions as to how you are using these to improve your tones would be appreciated.

Found a site that has some M9 / M13 User Patches that might be interesting. Any others out there? Would like to see some real nice delay/Mod settings out there. This "vetaville" one is really nice but most delay patches uploaded are U2 oriented. Would like to see some Pink Floyd and even Dream Theater Tones.

Joyo AC Tone sim

I have a M13 and wondering has anyone run a Joyo AC Sim with the M13 and what are there experiences. Do you put it pre mid or post m13.

Also trying to scrounge other Joyo forums to find out what are optimal setting to get that VOX AC30 tone. I can get it with my AC30 plugamp but finding it hard with the AC tone

Any help appreciated

Here's what I have:

Barber Tone Press, Tube Screamer, Barber LTD, M13

Slot 1 of the M13 will have wah, Phaser, Filters..Which I like to run before the Tone press, Tubescreamer, LTD..

So essentially this is how I want the effects ordered

M13 Column 1, My individual pedals, M13 Column 2, M13 Column 3, M13 column 4 in effects loop of amp..

Is this possible? or since I'm running the 4 cable method do my Individual pedals have to be completely in front of the M13?

I also have a loopmaster 2 channel pedal...I wasn't sure if it would be possible to give the m13 two separate effects loops..or if I'll even need it

While we each have additions we'd like to see added to the M9 (Small Stone, modulated reverb), there are some crucial performance and usability updates that we've needed since the M series launced (though some of these might be specific to the M9).

The last major update was 10/8/09. 3 years ago. It's starting to feel like we've been forgotten.

One absolutely essential update for live performance is Global Tap Tempo. Not having the option for tap-tempo to carry over from one scene to the next is absolutely brutal for performance. Seriously.

A few other things are pretty crucial too; a "hold" option so that the tuner doesn't get inadvertently activated when hitting switches simultaneously, the option to have scene PC's start at 1 or 0, the option to have numerical read outs everywhere to make noting/recalling settings more precise, a "swap" effects feature to make moving things around within a scene less clumsy.

Please prove all the people wrong who said this would become abandonware.

And if you won't do it, just release the code and let us figure it out.
