Problema con el pedal de expresión

Hola a todos, llevo ya unos añitos con la Pod X3 Live y estoy muy contento con ella, sobre todo desde que realizé la conexión mediante el método de los 4 cables (4CM), gracias a los consejos y apuntes de ElMontu (gracias!! ahora suena de muerte!!).

El problema ha surgido poco a poco, y es que cada vez me cuesta más apretar el cambio del pedal de volumen a wah wah. No me refiero a la dureza o sensibilidad del pedal en sí, si no al momento en que cambia de un modo a otro... Casi tengo que ponerme encima de la pod sobre un solo pie y saltar para que haga el cambio de volumen a wah wah (y viceversa, claro).

No estoy seguro si es algo interno de la placa que me está petando, o si voy a tener que limar algo del pedal por que no llega bien a su destino... Ni papa la verdad.

A ver si ha alguien le ha pasado lo mismo y tiene solución, y me puede ayudar con este problema.

Unable to unregister POD X3 Live - Error 528

Hi,

I just sold my Variax 500 and POD X3 Live. I was able to unregister the Variax, however I get an error 528 "There's a service attached to this device" when trying to unregister the POD. Please help, thank you!

hi there,

I'm wanting to add a Pod X3 Live to the rest of my analogue pedals, ive tried doing this by patching them into the Pod's FX in and out but with no success. I was wondering if anyone could help me run through this problem as i do not want to add my pedals after the guitar in as it would make my presets on the pod sound rubbish :/

X3 Live - How to use with Garageband?

Hi,

I have the X3 Live and using Garageband on my mac.

My goal is to be able to record and take those same tones to my live show.

I want to record clean on to Garageband then tweak the tone. Then download thos tones onto my X3 and take it to my gig.

How would I achieve this?

I thought I would use the Gear Box plug in but I can't get it since they don't sell it any more. Is there somewhere I can get it from?

I have been using the stand alone Gear Box and that works great but doesn't help me to use as a plug-in.

Should I just use Pod Farm? Are those tones the same as what is in my X3? Can I upload those into my X3 Live?

Hey All,

Doing some research on amps and desided to check out what other users of the POD X3 think.

My Crate GTX212 clean channel is crapping out on me and I am looking to replace it with another amp.

I found the Crate to be poorly assembled. The first trouble I had with the amp was a loose circuit board shorting out on hardware in the controls box.

I anchored the circuit board down myself and it has worked for the last four years.

Now the clean channel problem.

Looking for insights about amps before I buy another amp.

If I plug my variax into my amp and do some of the alternate tunings it sounds fine, but when I run it through the x3 live, the alternate tunings sound funny

Pod X3 Bean Compatible to FBV Shrtboard MKII ???

Hi. I'm planning to buy a Pod X3 Bean and a FBV. Here's my question then;

1. I know that the Pod X3 is no longer manufactures by Line 6. Though I really like the tons of Amps, Cabs, Effects and Mic, I ordered one through ebay. How will I register the USED product to line 6?

2. I read the manual of Pod X3 Bean, and the compatible FBV's are express,shortboard and longboard. Does the FBV SHORTBOARD MKII will do the exact playability interaction with the Pod X3?

X3 Live Wah (way too loud) issue

Hey everyone, I know a lot of people have commented on this same problem, as far as i read I couldn't find a solid solution for anything that i haven't tried. So i wanted to report my findings.. first of all, here is the issue: everything works and sounds great until i switch on the wah, as soon as i do, the volume (at least) triples. it gets so loud it is unusable. I've checked my volume pedal so that its at 0-100% and i've tried different wah models to see if it was the same, i've also played with the wah volume too but it still sounds nothing like it should. The one thing that i did find out that worked (that shouldn't have made a difference) is moving the volume pedal from PRE to POST. when i do this, the wah volume goes to 'normal' (even with no adjustments to the wah itself), unfortunately, i don't like the change in tone when i move the volume pedal. has anyone found any other solution to this problem?

pod x3 dual tone and dual variax??

I have a pod x3 live. I have a variax. I know I can dual tone, but can I also have a different variax guitar setting for tone 1 and tone2? Example:

Tone 1 = a fender amp with delay and a variax acustic setting.

Tone 2 = a marshall amp with distortion delay, and variax gibson setting.

Using a Pod X3 as a head?

Hey all! I have a Pod X3 that I use for recording and such that sounds terrific with the tone I created. What I usually do is plug it into a little PA I have, and use that as an amp since I never figured out how to make it come out of my computers speakers.

Now I'm in a very serious dedicated metalcore band, and one of our guitarist is having money troubles and can't get a head for a little while. I was wondering if it's at all possible to plug my Pod X3 directly into a cab and use that as a head? It seems all to simple to be true, but if it's possible that'll be fantastic. Any ideas?

open x3 live

Hello,

I have to open my x3 live (squezing pedal, adjustment screew fell in the x3). I opend the 5 screews in front and 5 in the back of the access cover; nothing happend. Then I opend a screew in a deepening on the bottom (my feeling: a mistake) - also nothing happend.

Can somebody help me with informations to open ist?
