"New" Pod X3 Pro recieved with serial already registered

Hi

 

Bought a brand new Pod X3 Pro from a German online Line6 dealer. When I recieved the shipment the original box had been opened and the inside plastic had been unsealed.

I tried to register the hardware online i recieved the message that the unit had already been registered to another user, can Line6 help me find out if this is the case?

BTW I have contacted the selling company and I am currently awating their response.

    This is not uncommon. It generally means that the unit was proviously bought and returned within the trial period. The purchaser registered it to try it out before returning it. The important question is: Why was it returned? The purchaser just changed their mind, or is there a problem with it? There's usually no problem, but unfortunately you can't know that at this point.

     

    If you want a brand new unit, return this one to where you bought it. If you want to test this unit out and perhaps keep it then wait for a response to this question from Line 6. They will easily help get your unit registered to your username.
