I just recently got a spider iv 15 as my first amp ever so its probably my lack of experience/ knowledge about amps that is crippling me here. I bought the FBV Express MKII and downloaded its controller and Gearbox. I am running windows 7 OS and have downloaded all the necessary plug ins. What I am trying to do is have gearbox directly control my amps effects while I am playing and connected to the computer so that I can review sounds and then save the presets. I am not getting any output of my effect changes from either the controller or gearbox itself. I have my input and output set to the FBV in gearbox but have also tried all the other configurations. I do have normal output through the amp directly from the guitar though. I have opened up the gearbox preset from the file location and am actually getting response in the gearbox program from my a and b stomps on the FBV. Gearbox says that there is no usb device connected. I have followed all the steps in all of the user manuals as best I can tell but I still have no effect output. I greatly appreciate any help.
