Memory reset question

Hi,

I've got a POD and I just tried to reset the memory as described in the manual...Hold the UP and DOWN buttons and turn on the power. However, now none of the presets sound right...the clean sounds are distorted and the effects are no longer there.  In the manual it says it will be reset like when it left the factory. I'm assuming the presets were programmed at the factory so I'm wondering what happened. I haven't had time to thoroughly test it but I think it's only the presets that are messed up.

Did I do something wrong? Is there some way to get the presets back?

Thanks very much,

gr

    RE: Memory reset question

    Hello,

Try the factory reset again to see if this was a glitch in the factory reset.  If you are using an original POD (or POD 2.o) this is the correct procedure.  are you using the correct PX2 (9v AC 1200 or 2000ma) power supply?  If not, this may be the problem.  There will be no way to recover your original presets unless you backed them up prior to performing the reset.
