UX2 sound cuts out.

I just bought a Ux2. I'm having a problem where when the red clipping lights go on, I lose sound on my DAW ( REcord ), and it won't work again until the document is closed and reopened. SOunds from my guitar still passes through, but isn't recognized by the DAW when this happens. The sound will always cut it out in the same place, where the clipping occurs. Probably something simple. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Brian,

       

      So wait... are you experiencing this behavior when playing back the same project file? What happens if you create a blank/new project just as a test? Start with one track. Then add another. Is there a certain number of tracks/data that this behavior happens? Or is does it happen with just one track, but when the audio clips?

       

      Please let us know your findings. It seems really strange.

      Heya,

       

      OK, this is very strange. THis seems to occur with only one file, and one track of that file. Once the sound cuts out, I can mute the offending track, and then the others will be audible.I tried to recreate the error with other files and tracks but couldn't. I re-recorded the offending track and now it seems all is good. I should have saved a copy of the file for you guys.

       

      Anyways, thanks for the help. As it stands, it seems to have been one glitchy track. Not sure why this came about.
