Pod farm plug in and Acid Pro 7

   Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck running Pod farm as a plug in in Acid Pro 7 ?

I am running X3 pro , windows xp system. Acid pro seems to be working great with no major issues

its just I would like to edit the tones with pod farm. I installed Pod farm from monkey installer. I assume

it installed the version that I am supose to have. I went through acid pro 7 options and slected the pod farm

.exe file as a plug in so it shows up on my lists of plug ins. My problem is when I highlight a track and select

edit with pad farm its starts the program ok, but stops and says unable to find compatible device and gives me a

list of devices. I know that x3 pro doesnt use pod farm as a stand alone device. I thik I might have pod farm configured

wrong. When I select a device it starts the program but I cant seem to figure out how to import the source track from

acid pro 7 into it. I'm sure its something simple I just havnt found the correct settings. If anyone has an idea please

let me know thanks..

You need to have your X3 connected via USB when running POD Farm plugin. The X3 provides the authorization/authentication for licensing purposes.

When using Acid, select the track you want to edit and then assign/activate POD Farm as an audio FX for that track.

This is straight from the POD Farm manual....... doesn't mean it works....

Configuring POD Farm Plug-In in your Host Software

Accessing and utilizing POD Farm Plug-In from within your VST

®, AU® or RTAS® is fairly straight-forward, but there are a few little differences between some host applications, so it is a good idea to read through the documentation
that came with your host software first. To follow are a few helpful pointers.

Where Can I Find the POD Farm Plug-In On My Computer?

If you followed the default installation of POD Farm, then all supported formats of the POD Farm Plug-In were automatically
installed on your computer, and into the default directories, as listed below. If, by chance, you customized your installation
by unchecking any of the POD Farm Plug-In formats, then you’ll need to run the POD Farm installation again with them
checked to allow them to be installed. If you manually changed the directory for where the VST Plug-In was to be installed,
then you’ll need to know what that custom directory was that you specified.

Most DAW "host" applications scan and locate your POD Farm Plug-In automatically on launch. But if you don’t see POD Farm
in your host’s Plug-In menus, then you’ll need to configure your host’s Plug-In options to find it (such options are typically found in the host’s Preferences).
Here is the default install location for each of the POD Farm Plug-In formats...
