POD Studio GX Cutting Out / Latency

Hi, I just bought the Studio GX for use on tour with my band. I set it all up and started to use it and it sounded great. One slight problem though, every 8 or 10 seconds it cuts out for a second or two.
I saw a thread suggesting audio optimization, and I did that, but it still has the same problem.
Is there anything else I can do?
any help at all? dying to record
Just purchased one also and noticed it cutting out on regular use when hooked up to my Mac. I am in Snow Leopard 10.6.2. The unit was connected and used a few hours earlier w/AmpliTube 3, then I unplugged my guitar but left the GX on and after sometime of using my mac the audio started to cut out and stutter.
Dose this happen when the unit gets hot?
i dont think it can really heat up, there's hardly anything in it. Mine cuts out straight away.
I just got it and so I have not been able to spend too much time with it ... anyway, It got hot after a while and audio began to cut out... I did not notice much of any latecny when using it though (btw, I'm on mac can't use the utility Hugo posted).
Will have to spend more time with it, if it happens again... I'm packing it up and taking it back for a refund. ![]()
I recommend downloading the DPC latency checker from the following link to get a visual of the dropouts you are getting:

If you get high dropouts, I recommend disabling devices from your device manager starting with your wireless adapters to see if this will improve your dropouts. Following the suggestions in that link on what to disable and what not to disable.

Thanks Hugo, I tried this Latency thing, and it did help to an extent. It allowed me to allocate things which were causing SOME latency, but no matter what I did there was still the occasional clip and change in sound.
Really can't figure it out - I tried downloading the latest drivers for the GX and will try that out next.
I find that with my MacBook pro that I need to restart before using the toneport with pod farm. I just always figured that I had too much going on prior to loading Pod Farm, and the computer just needed it's buffers or what ever to be 'fresh'
