Pod Farm Platinum 2

I recently heard that Pod Farm Platinum 2 was listed in the new Sweetwater catalog as a new product.

 

Have not been able to find any information about it on the web, including the Line 6 site.

 

Is this the case? 

When is the release date, price, details etc?

 

Have I misheard, is this just a mistake/rumor?

    possibly there might be a release but Line 6 will say nothing until they release it.....

    I couldn't guarantee this, but Line 6 usually updates their customers when they come out with a new rev.  For example, they updated the X3 from rev 1 to rev 2 free, XT to rev 3 free, etc.

     

    Considering that there are still pieces missing from the POD Farm VST, such as MIDI controll, I would think that Line 6 will upgrade existing users when version 2 comes out.

    I bought this from Audiomidi.com (great site BTW) and it said " Buy it now and get the upgrade to version 2.0 on 3-18-10!

     

    I have no idea how to check for updates and the Monkey software only works with hardware it seems.

    We will have an official release early next week.  Along with that release we will have a host of FAQs that should answer all of your questions.  Of course, if you still have questions, please re-open this post as a question and we will get back to you with answers.
