High pitch whine MacOSX with Tone port gx

Hey guys.  I think I'm experiencing the same high pitch whine as noted in this topic.

The solution was to use balanced cables.  I'm using the only output on this thing.  I'm just using a 1/8th to rca.  What would be a balanced cable.  What should I do?  Thanks.
