POD GX useable with M-Audio Fast Track USB w/ PRO TOOLS?

I'm currently using my GX to  record, and I'm going to get Pro Tools M-powered essentials, with an  M-Audio fast track II

 

Would I still be able to use the POD GX with this  setup?

    You can still use the GX with other applications such as Record, Reason Cubase ect. But you will not be able to see any routing options for the GX inside of Pro Tools.

       

      Pro tools uses it's own proprietary Avid or M-Powered hardware to process audio.

       

      However, if you have model packs for Gearbox or POD FARM you can use the GX like a USB key for authorization in the RTAS versions of those plugins.
