I've been gigging extensively with the M9 since I bought it last December. I am very happy with this device!

On a duo gig that I'm doing regularly I use the looper extensively, and I have one feature request that would make a world of difference for me.

I often switch back and forth from looper mode to engage different effects on the fly and create a layered accompaniment bed to solo over. At least once per gig, I forget which mode I am in at the moment and try to either engage the looper or switch an effect on/off, and do something completely different than I intended....for example, it really sucks engage an envelope filter or distortion instead of switching the looper into overdub, or stop it completely...

IF there is some way, in a future firmware update, to add a looper status indicator to either the LCD or by flashing some LEDs on the M9, it would make it much easier to avoid this kind of confusion. Maybe there is some creative way to use the multicolor LEDs or LCD backlight to blink between colors when the looper is engaged...
