Please refer to our FAQ on USB connectivity. You will find in this document that USB hubs are not supported.

A: No, USB hubs are not supported in any application of Line 6 hardware.

Hi, Thanks for your response but i think we have crossed wires i am not using an actual usb hub,the problems im having are when the pocket pod is plugged into any of the usb sockets on any of the pc's i use directly.

The only time I have ever run into this issue with the Pocket POD was when I had connected a faulty cable to it.
Since you've already ruled out cables and connected the POD to different computers I'd say your POD is defective.
How long have you had the device?
Where did you purchase the unit from?

Thanks for your reply, i had a feeling to be honest it may be faulty and unfortunately its second hand.
I purchased this for practice and jamming to my ipod so its not the end of the world as it works perfectly apart from this fault,
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read and reply to this question but i think ill just get on with my practicing now and leave the usb socket well alone incase i end up damaging the rest of the unit.
