Hi, Thanks for your response but i think we have crossed wires i am not using an actual usb hub,the problems im having are when the pocket pod is plugged into any of the usb sockets on any of the pc's i use directly.

                    Thanks for your reply, i had a feeling to be honest it may be faulty and unfortunately its second hand.

I purchased this for practice and jamming to my ipod so its not the end of the world as it works perfectly apart from this fault,

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read and reply to this question but i think ill just get on with my practicing now and leave the usb socket well alone incase i end up damaging the rest of the unit.
