Community: How do I turn off the 'endless playback' option

How do I turn off the 'endless playback' option

Hi, I have recorded a backing track which I intend to use for an upcoming audition. However, when I go to Settings/Endless Playback, I am unable to change it to 'off'. On the display it says: Endless Playback [ON][ON]. When I press the right arrow, nothing happens. Help please? Thanks in advance.

Try turning the big silver knob on the top of the amp

  from page 4-2 of the User Manual:
  
  Endless Play
  To choose whether the Songs and Drum Grooves "loop" endlessly or just play once and stop, do the following:
  Press the •
  
  Song / Drums
  button twice to show the additional functions.
  Turn the •
  
  Select knob to highlight Endless Play
  .
  Press •
  
  Right on the 4-way
  button.
  Turn the •
  
  Select knob to turn Endless Play On or Off
  .
  You can also choose whether a free time Recording "loops" endlessly or just plays once then stops, as follows:
  Press the •
  
  Song / Drums
  button twice to show the additional functions.
  Turn the •
  
  Select knob to highlight Looping, then press Right on the 4-way
  button.
  Turn the •
  
  Select knob to turn Looping for Recording or Playback On or Off

    Hi, thanks for the help. However, when I press 'SONG/DRUMS' twice, I only have the following 3 options: Endless Playback (This can be toggled for the songs or for the drum tracks, but does not affect recordings), Playback Speed/Pitch, and Play Preview. I don't see any 'Looping' option.
    Do I need a firmware update or something?

      I doubt that its a firmware issue as this function was built into the original firmware.
      
      However, it is always a good idea to make sure you have latest firmware on any computerized device.
      
      What firmware is on the amp now?

        Apparently I'm running 1.04, guess I should really update it. It's odd that the option doesn't appear, hopefully the FW update will fix it

        yes you should definitley do the firmware upgrade - lots of new features.
        
        before you do it be sure you thoroughly prepare yourself for the issues that you may encounter.
