F3XL to Pod Pro X3

Since Im moving back into the studio from the stage, Im thinking of grabbing a PPX3 as sort of a studio interface. It seems to have all the goodies, and if I go back out with a band, I could add a power amp and cab and be done. Will I be happy if that happened?

Hey Spy..how've you been? I haven't been on the boards for a while. Playing in both a country and alt/hard rock band as well as studio time really cuts into my forum time.

The PODx3 has some really great tones, especially when you use the ability to have two separate tones, one on each channel. I have a pro I use in my home studio and a PODx3 bean I use live for the alt/hard rock band. I was using it with a Mesa 2:90 power amp but I've switched to an old Peavey 50/50 tube power amp and like the warmth a lot more. In the studio the PODx3Pro is pretty cool. Think Soldano - Marshall combinations or Fender Twin and Deluxe combinations.

    Take care
