The best monitoring system i can figure out, but cant buy, wold make the following posible:

We  have a 18-aux-channel stage mixer, so everyone gets its own monitor  mix. But i also want to know what the audience hears and so the current  solution is that everyone has his mix on the left ear and the PA-Master  on the right. The balance pot on the hippack lets you fade betwen those  extrema. But its not perfect. Perfect would be a sender (none ever  produced as far as i know) that has a L, R and Aux input and transmits  all three channels. The receiver should now allow you to fade between  L/R <-> L+A/R+A <-> A/A.

BTW: A combo with another channel in the other way would me allow to play my bass and have just one Hippack ;-)
