What indeed?!!
It's actually quite good, just doesn't run as good on a 2GB server...But that's a Tomcat problem...Hudson is easier to manage than Cruise Control is...I have 6 SVN revision branches of the same product...287 compilation projects of C++, C, VB6, VB.net, C#, T-SQL, PL-SQL and PHP that is controlled by a self generating NANT scripting solution I came up with...Thanks to Karl_H for some good examples when I started this endeavor back in March...This is first release on automated for this 15 year old product...It has not been built from the ground up in 15 years...What a mess...I feel like a Code Mercenary...

Hiya Mate
Dogs are great, always your best friend, even when your wife finds out the new Bare Knuckle Pups cost "how much?" etc. etc.
Enjoy your new addition to the family.

Oreo...Man, that's a cool name...We ended up naming him Bug. My wife chose it because you can put other names with it...Stink Bug, Jitter Bug...Oreo Bug...He's about 12 lbs now...almost 5 months old...I am guessing 17 lbs @ 1 year...One of the cats will play with him some...He has tackled her a couple of times now that he has the weight...He's pretty strong for his size...He only barks when he's playing...When he sees or hears other dogs he just stares...Owls scare the c.r.a.p out of him.

some more pics...Labor Day weekend...He's less than 3 months old...Haven't transferred the current ones yet...

Adorable spaceatl!! I can't tell for sure, is he a Boston Terrier? I figure he's either that, or one of those French Bulldogs.
I can't remember if I've ever posted my little Buddy to this thread or not. Looks like this thread has been around for awhile. But rather than going through every page to see if I did post his pic already, I'll just post it now to make sure.
His name is Jasper, and he loves to accompany me on the piano when I'm jammin' in the man cave. Here he is looking all dejected because I wouldn't let him grab a solo after the second chorus:

Thanks Doc...He is a Boston...What is Jasper? A Chahuahua/Dashaund mix or something...I am not so good at guessing or even spelling that guess...

We don't know much about where he came from...He was brought to a no kill shelter around Chattanooga, TN when he was just barely 6 weeks old. He had worms and mange...We heard it was an accidental breeding...The mange part of that story makes sense to me...I think he was came from a mill...
Vet thinks he is more or less a pure bred, but you could never get papers on him because he isn't painted right...He has the black suit...but something went wrong in the paint shop and his face is all white...Doesn't matter...He's a cool little dude...He loves people...

I never thought about it that way...Space Bug....He looks like he's wearing a space suit...
He does look more bull dog to me than BTs I have seen before...But I think that might just be the white face...He looks like a mini pit bull these days...

He's a rescue dog, so we're not real sure exactly what he is. I've seen pics of the "long coat" breed of chihuauhuas, and he looks a lot like them except for his ears droop rather that stick straight up in Chihuahua fashion. One thing for, he's a real sweetheart. It's as if I'd put together a list of what I think would be the perfect ideal dog for me and then that's is what we got when we brought Jasper home. I've owned a lot of different dogs over the last 50 years. But Jasper is easily the best one I've ever had.
It's about time too. Because the last three dogs we had were terrible; especially the very last one we had. We'd nicknamed him "Psycho Sam." He either bit or tried to bite everybody that came through our door, and even bit us a time or two. I went out and bought the Dog Whisperer's book and read it cover to cover twice. I applied everything I read in that book, but Psycho Sam just kept getting worse instead of better. It was the first time in my life (and hopefully the last) that I actually had to have a dog I owned put down. We took him to the vet to have it done and it was very humane because he just went to sleep and didn't wake up. But even though Sam was hateful, dangerous, and a holy terror, I still grieved about having to do that to him for a long time. We were so careful when we picked out Jasper. But anybody that came close to the pen they had him in at the animal rescue shelter, he would immediately lie down on his back in the "surrender" position. According to what I read in that Dog Whisperer book, those are the kind of dogs that make good pets because they're very humble and submissive. That turned out to be true in Jasper's case. And he doesn't go around cowering all the time either. Which is good because that's something else I wouldn't like. He just showed us right of the bat that he knows who's boss, but he never cowers.
Sorry, I sometimes get carried away when I'm telling people about my wonderful pooch.

That is heartbreaking doc...When you love them...you talk about them...that's cool bro!
I never had to put one down for that...Gosh, that must have been a difficult decision...I can see where the guilt would get after you...No reason for it...you did all you could...just stinks when it happens that way...
I had a friend that had to do put down his 5 year old pincher (20 something years ago)...He had him from 8 weeks on and he was never trained to be vicious...He was a remarkable dog...He would even listen to me...From what I understand some Pinchers have a genetic condition where their skull is too small for the brain...They basically go insane...After getting attacked a couple of times and beating him back with a baseball bat, he had to do it...My friend knew this was coming for a few years prior also...I wonder if your dog had some sort of genetic thing going on...I think that happens to some dogs and there really isn't much ready information on these sorts of unusual things...You generally only pick them up from a breeder or someone who has been around a certain breed for a long time...
The worst one for me was a cat we had named Gypsy...She was going through renal failure and I kept her going for several months feeding her with a syringe...She did not like it, but she didn't fight it...When she started to fight it and seemed that the pain was too much we put her put down...Even though she was old and I know she was sick...She is the one that I feel some guilt about...I know I have no reason to...but I do from time to time...
