Cabeling questions...Relay G90 - Bass Pod XT Pro

Greetings,
Working on setting up my rack system and I have a few questions regarding the cabeling of these 2 peices of equipment....
1) For connecting the G90 to the Bass Pod XT Pro...... I would connect the "Main Out" on the G90 to the "29" "Line Level Input" on the back of the Bass Pod XT Pro, correct??
2) For connecting the Bass Pod XT Pro to my GK 1001 RB head I would use the "33" "Unbal Analog Out" - "Model" to the head, correct??
3) I dont plan on using the G90 for practice purposes, so in that case, I would be fine to just leave the G90 powered off and plug straight into the "Bass In" on the front of the Bass Pod XT Pro, using the cabeling mentioned above and still have the Bass Pod XT Pro fully functional, correct??
Sorry if these sound like some "newbie" questions, but this is my first rack set up and I just want to be sure I have everything set up correctly. Thanks for your time and response!!
Regards
You treat the output of a G90 that same as you do a cable coming from your bass. It is instrument level, not line level.
1) depending on your rack-setup you could either connect the TS-Jack ("output") of the G90 with your line-input or try connecting the XLR-output of the G90 with a XLR-to TS quasi-symmetrical connection for better common mode rejection.
see [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/de/e/e8/Pseudodifferential.gif] for details.
In short: use a shielded 2-channel cable and connect XLR-1 to cable shield, XLR-2 to TS-Tip via channel 1 and XLR-3 to TS-sleeve via channel 2. Dont connect shield to TS-jack.
As your G90 is no passive signal, you may use front or rear input as you like and adapt with input gain.
2) & 3) correct.
