Compatibility of patches between the HD models......?

Found a few great HD patches for download at:

The HD patches available here were created on an HD400.  I will be getting an HD500 shortly --- will patches created on other models (HD300/400) be compatible for the HD500??

    no, the 500 patches are completely different....

    300 and 400 can sometimes be compatible (depending on whether the extra effects on the 400 were used)

    BUT...

    you can install the editor for all versions and open the tones in offline mode... and recreate them on whever HD model you want... making appropriate tweaks or additions to suite you or the particular HD model.
