Hey Gang, could someone please help me here?

here's my setup, I have the Line 6 pod studio connected and Pro tools mox 7.1 connected via usb. Whenever I try to use the plug-in it gives me the "no authorized device= a required device is either not authorized or not connected.." ?
    Im trying to use the line6 pod studio for guitar into pro tools. I have my guitar plugged into the input, and Im running out of the line 6 via 1/4 inch cables into the 1/4 inch connector in pro-tools. Any suggestions???
  I also have a laptop and a desktop. I tried running the POD farm on the laptop and go OUT from the line6 into the protools on my desktop but gave me an incredible amount of noise......?
