Eric, the Spider Jam has no circuitry built-in to simulate an acoustic guitar but you can get stomp boxes that do this. I have one by Behringer and it can make my Stratocaster sound 'more' acoustic. Although not totally convincing in isolation, it works reasonably well when mixed with other instruments.
