Recording Separate tones via USB

Hello;

I was wondering if it was possible to simultaneously record dual tone into two separate tracks via USB.

I use two different tones in my recording, but right now I am tracking separatly, so guitar parts need to be recorded 4 times.  So I would like to know if I can assign Tone 1 and Tone 2 to different tracks in my DAW so that I can record them both at the same time and then EQ and process separately.

Thanks!

    Yes - you can do this. When arming your tracks for recording in your DAW you can choose different Record Inputs for the 2 tracks. Make sure your DAW is configured to use the X3 and its ASIO driver as the audio input/output device. The select Tone 1 as the Record Input for one track and Tone 2 for the other. See the X3 manual - the section on USB recording - for more details if necessary.
