Metallica

Here's the setlist I use.  It has all the posted tones, plus some others I'm still working on.

I hope everyone realizes these patches are designed for direct recording in Studio/Direct output mode.  If you're going to an amp, be sure to set your output mode accordingly - I would also change all the cabs to "no cab".

it takes a bit to index your uploaded tones, so if you JUST uploaded, it won't show up in search results.  You can see and edit your tones by going to the customtone home page and looking on the right hand side of the page for a red box that says "My Tones".  At the bottom of the box is a link that says "See all my tones".  Click that to see all your tones.

If you can't see the box, I would guess you're not logged in - there should be a sign in link at the very top of the page.

Glad to hear you are enjoying them.  I'm actually pretty happy with the patches you mentioned, and some of the Metallica ones.  I've tweaked a few.  I've started making "pre" versions for some of the high gain tones.

If you've got any good updates, be sure to post them.  I know there's a lot of room for improvement.  I spent a while trying to get the Randy Rhodes tone, which I could never get right.  Much hair pulled.  Many patches tweaked for hours then scrapped.

I'm going to start trying to make more organized setlists to start, then dialing in each tone individually.  There are lots of good tones on customtone as well.  one thread has all of them as a bundle!!!
