My HD400 on board expression pedal will not toe switch between Volume and Wah. Volume works fine. I recall that prior to updating firmware, it switched between vol and wah however NOT into pitch glide (both lights lit) however pitch glide did work on patches. I think either the toe switch is bad or perhaps firmware update caused problem. Brand new HD400, 5 days out of box. Any thoughts?
The most common reason for this is that you need to press on it harder. In most cases you will need to stand up and REALLY PRESS HARD - much harder than you think, at the very tip of the pedal. Don't worry - you won't break it.
Silverhead-thanks - I had it on my desk, working through the editing. You cannot switch it by hand, you have to have it on the floor and exert "FIRM" pressure.
Right - can't easily do it by hand sitting down. If there was ever a 'STOMP' switch, this is it! ![]()
Hi all,
I have the same problem as stated above.
I got the pedal the other day and the first thing that I did was to upgrade it to the 2.01 firmware.
Today I was pluging it into a PA to finally do some real testing of the sound, and when trying out the expression pedal I noticed that it went from 0 to 100 in just a minor change.
I saw the videos for reseting the pedal and also the video for calibrating the pedal, but when I get to the part of "Clicking the toe switch" it does not react no matter how hard I press it. I even tried more or less standing on one foot and pressing it down..
Any tips on what to do, or do I have to send it back to the retailer and have a new one sent out ?
Thanks in advance!
