HD 500 / SET UP FOR GUITAR AND HARMONICA

CAN ANYONE SHARE THE TONE CONFIGURATION OF DUAL TONE PAREMETERS

FOR A GUITAR (INPUT B) AND A MIC FOR A HARMONICA (INPUT A).?

There are a few of us that use the mic as a vocal input but not a Harmonica. You should also try it without an amp on Input 2 because the amp might color the Harminica sound too much. Here is one of my patches that I have Input 1 set for Guitar and Input 2 set for Mic/Vocal

  Hi Ed thi is my first variation.
  I used your tone and make this variations:
  To line of the mic i just added a Dynamic Delay and the Room reverb. The Harmonica sounds better for me now.
  I assigned the FS5 (Footswitch 5) to turn off/on the Room reverb when i sing on stage. and turn it on for the harmonica lines
  Its great!

  (For all) If the mic sounds too low just give some drive to the amp or the CH Vol (It happens to me)

I have some patches set up for acoustic guitar and vocal but i use the FX return for my mic. I do this because it means i don't get my vocal signal going through my guitar chain and vice versa because by using the FX loop block i can stop the guitar signal going down the vocal chain. Here is my patch.

  Thanks, mark i´m working in it now, with the FX loop before the amp i can use several amps, i´m gonna test and i tell you, and post the new patch

Hey juanvegam,

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread with their tones or suggestions. We will leave this thread open for further community contributions.

My suggestion is to use a green bullet microphone by shure. It is microphone made for harmonica, and it plugs straight into guitar amps, used by blues harmonica players. works great for telephone sounding vocals as well.
