Need help with AX2 212 unresponsive wah problem

My wah has become unresponsive on my AX2 212. It comes on, but the pedal does not change the frequency of the wah.
There was a thread in the old forums that identified the possible fix and the part I needed to change out (an 8 bit converter I believe) according to Lemmie who helped everyone out.
It was a simple swap out of this specific A/D converter I think in the amp head.
Of course we can not access the old archived forums from last year the last I checked so I lost the specific instructions about the procedure and part to replace to try and fix this. Not happy when I came back here and saw the new forums with all previous data destroyed.
Does anyone know what part this might be and where it is located in the head?
The amp works fine otherwise-all patches without a wah are fine.
The volume pedal works fine.
Any help is appreciated. I know Lemmie headed for the hills after the forum change so am wondering if anyone else knows what this part replacement is.
It seemed pretty common.
I do not suppose there is a way to now access the old archived forums is there?
There was not a couple months ago. Pretty surprising that Line 6 would make the switch and dump years of knowledge.
Found an old email I saved that indicated I needed to replace a TLC542 8 bit A/D converter but do not remember where it goes or if it is a drop in replacement for the same part.
Also when I do a Digikey search-I get a bunch of possible choices for that part.
Any help from LINE 6 guys is appreciated.
Anybody from Line 6 reading this?
C'mon- throw me a bone here. ![]()
Or, make the old forums available in an archived section.
Hi,
The old forums have been up as read only ever since the change over.

Thank you.
FWIW- it is impossible to find the Archived forums.
I looked all over here for a link.
Still cannot find the link anywhere.
I have the same amp with the same problem. It took a couple of days to figure it out. Turns out that my problem was a bad solder joint on the board, a transistor was loose. Re-solderd it and wah works like new. I hope that helps you.
