Clark Kent: My take on the Petrucci Roadking tone!

I'm a big fan of Petrucci's Recto-era. I just bought an EBMM Mystic Dream JP6 today (with the original pickups from the Recto-era) so I thought I'd try to get a tone close to Train of Thought WITHOUT IRs, I'm just using the Recto SM57 on axis mic. WARNING: I haven't played this solo in ages so you'll notice me making a lot of mistakes and taking time to think how the solo continues at times.
My playing isn't that important here. Just concentrate on the tone.

The EQ curve is almost identical to the original JP tone. However there's some digital fizzyness in the POD HD that I can't EQ out and I don't want that muffly tone either so this is as close as I can get.
I must say that the tube-like dynamics in this patch are awesome. Probably the most realistic tube-like dynamics I've ever had on the POD HD500.
Okay... I guess Line6 Forum doesn't want people to share patches. Can't attach nor can I add the patch to Custom Tone.
If you guys want it... just ask.
good job !!! Share the patch please !!

I think this is probably one of a few things that need to be tweaked with the new forum software implementation which went live earlier this week. I don't think it's intentional. :-) However, whilst you don't appear to be able to add attachments when you make the original post, if you go back and Edit post (or I think it's still Edit thread if you're the first poster), there is an option to Add an attachment - the post though will be in Advanced edit mode so for now you'll need to work around the HTML coding when editing a post.
Some file types aren't allowed at present it seems. I have just uploaded atest .h5e tone here and it's had a .zip extension added by the upload process which is a bit weird, but I guess if the file is either renamed or possibly unzipped it should load into an HD500.
Custom Tone does seem to have a problem with uploading tones - I'm getting Multiple Choices this morning. I have reported it, but it possibly won't get looked at until Monday at the earliest

Nice work bro. I'd like to play with the patch.
About posting the patch, I think you can at least zip it up and then post it as a .zip file (like nick did).
Others have gotten presets to upload by changing the extension to .doc from .h5e. The user just has to rename the file after they download it with the proper extension (.h5e)
Awesome !
