Been jamming with my JTV-69 for a few months now and I'm really liking it! Here are a couple of videos using the Strat models:

Thanks for posting some great vids.
I have just recieved my Black 69 and wanted to know what gauge strings you are using?
Also does your tremelo secure in with a screw or just in the plastic collar?
Cheers,
Jason
I'm using D'Addario XL 10's on mine. I like the way they sound but it's a little hard to bend. I may try 9's next time I get it set up.
The trem has a tiny screw on the bottom to keep it in place.
KC
Thanks KC! I am the same with the 10's. I like the sound but I have o get used to them.
Cheers,
Jason
If anyone is interested I am selling my new JTV-69 Placid Blue as I just like the JTV-59 I just got back from Line 6 repair better. I do not want or can afford to keep both. If anyone on the forum is interested PM me. The JTV-69 is brand new with all the plastic still on it from Sweetwater with all included accessories. There are no issues. I realize many may be still waiting for a JTV-69, I waited 10 months for this one and almost 11 months for the JTV-59 CSB. Figured I would give the forum a shot at this before I put it on eBay or something.
what did you like better about the 59? Is it heavier than the 69? is the necks/spacing btwn frets easier to play?
The JTV-59 is heavier weighing in at 8.6 on my digital postal scale compared to JTV-69 at 7.1 lbs. The neck on the JTV-59 feels thicker also (the one thing I have to get used on this guitar). I just like the build quality and look of the JTV-59 better. I guess I am more of a LP guy (I own three Gibson Les Pauls and three Fender Strats) when if came to these.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
