Hi,
I have installed all software and they are up to date.
After used Pod Farm 2 for some days I wonder:
1. Is there a way to update X3 user presets through the PC (Pod Farm)?
I can´t find anything info about this.
Some other thoughts or I just want to have confirmation that I have done it right:
2. In the different manuals it says that I should turn off amp&cabinets on the X3
when using Pod Farm (yes of course). Where do I do that?
When I use PFarm so far I use the Unprocessed Out signal. Is this the best way
to use PFarm?
3. After some weeks in use I have connected the X3 out through Studio direct out (XLR)
for the wet signal and Unprocessed out for the dry in to my DAW (Cubase).
Is this the best way to connect to my DAW?
Thanks in advance,
Lars

you need to use GEARBOX.
pod farm is only a plugin, gearbox is the editor... same controls just a different interface.
you would do better by hooking your daw up with the X3's usb connection...
then you could get your unprocessed and dry tone in stereo
Hey lhellgren,
To disable the amp&cab within the POD X3 all you will need to do is select the "Amp&Cab" block within the signal flow of the preset and press the On/Off button one time, this will turn off this block within the signal flow, you can confirm that it is off if it is not shaded black.
This is a great way to use the X3 as the audio interface sending a unprocessed sound into POD Farm.
Thanks both TheRealZap and Line6Don!
