Thats basically what you should be doing anyway. There is nothing nothing significant anyone on here can other than say "Sounds like it's fecked, go take it back and get a replacement".

got the same problem! i call the dealer back and he will exchange for me this week. but im afraid it will happen again. wonder why this is happen.,Attachments:

I’m from Brazil and I bought a new Line 6 Pod HD500 at Sam Ash Store in Los Angeles.
When I arrive in Brazil, I tried to turn on the Pod and a Black Screen appears and nothing else happened.
I’ve tried to update via monkey, start in safe mode and read the forum discussion about this problem but nothing help me.
What should I do now?

I have same problem. Today I turn on my HD500 and I see.. nothing on the screen. I don't understand. I tryed left arrow+turn on.. nothing. Down Arrowq and turn on.... nothing again. Today is Saturday, in Monday I'll back to shop..
