I purchased this unit 2-3 years ago and it worked great for months (aside from a bit of crackling when moving the cord) . After a slow gigging schedule and lack of use, I decided to go with a patch cord for a while. When I tried firing back up the unit , everything powers up, receiver and transmitter, but I am not getting any sort of signal whatsoever. I've attemped changing channels and read the manual inside and out. Could this problem be due to the 1/4 - 1/8th cord from the transmitter to the guitar?I had problems with crackling since initial purchase but it was never a huge issue. I don't want to spend even more money on a replacement cord if im not 100% sure that will solve the problem. I spent over $500 on this unit and am definitely not too impressed.
