Hey all, I have a XDR95 wireless and I'm really happy with it..The problem I have is the jack on the transmitter is loose and everytime I try to tighten it the whole jack spins so I don't want to keep spinning it and have something break inside..Does anyone know what a good way to tighten it would be ? Thanks any input I could get....
The best solution is to have an Authorized Service Center (ASC) technician do the repair for you, if you want to be safe.
Please use the locator to find the nearest ASC in your area and give them a call: http://line6.com/support/serviceCenters/
Thanks Perry..I took it apart and it seems that the metal sleeve was spinning so what I did was put a little dap of crazy glue at the base of the sleeve and that tighten it up so I think I'm good to go....
Hey nitrofix,
Keep in mind that we do not encourage or support opening up the unit yourself for repair. Our Warranty does not cover:
Any unit that has been repaired or had an attempted repair made to it by unauthorized personnel.
Hey Don, thanks for the info..I got the unit used and don't know how old it is so I figure it's not under warrenty anyway..Giged it this weekend and it worked fine..The unit is really good but I never understood why the transmitter is made of plactic and seems very cheap a complaint I've heard a number of times from different people who have these units...Anyway thanks again Don
Hey nitrofix,
You are very welcome. Glad to see that it worked fine for you at your last gig.
Hey Don, thanks man..Got another question for ya...Seems I fixed the sleeve problem but now having a problem with the jack itself..Seems when a move the cord going into the transmitter it pops and breaks up, if I tape the cord to my strap so it doesn't move it's cool...Now my question is do you know of any where I could get a replacement transmitter, I've looked on the bay and some forums with no luck, and if I buy a new in the box Relay G90 on Ebay will I still get the full factory warranty ?? Thanks again Don you've been a big help....
Yes ... but only if it is through a factory authorized dealer.
