FBV MK II Volume problem

When I try to turn the volume down to 0 with the wah/volume pedal, of my fbv express mkII, I can still hear the sound (only lowered not absent) of my guitar from the amplifier (spider IV 75 watt). Is that a normal thing? Should I change my pedal settings using the software?
