@ Gregr. I simply didn't know that. I wrongly presumed the Pre sims were for use with guitar amps only. And as guitar amps already have a speaker, I presumed the Pre sims would automatically disable cabs/mics.

 

As I mentioned, I haven't even looked at Pre sims, so I have a whole lot more to now go and experiment with.

1. I use pre amps for my metal/dirty tones and I use full amps for my clean stuff. I also use the cab and mic sims when using any pre amp model.
