I have my POD HD400 hooked up to the computer, POD HD400 edit is installed onto the same computer, but when i open up the edit software it says at the bottom of the screen, "no line6 device detected." I have checked over the connection many times and redone the process the user guide tells you to do many times and still have the same problem. What am I doing wrong
I'm having the same problem
Have you tried a different USB port and USB cable?
Does your HD400 show up in Line6 Monkey?
have you tried turning your computer off an on again?
It sounds like you don't have your drivers installed, or you possibly need to update your POD HD400's firmware to use it with HD Edit. Following the instructions below will ensure that your computer is set up, and your Line 6 hardware is up to date.
First make sure to download and install the latest Line 6 drivers for your operating system:
Windows Drivers 4.2.5.1:
http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4399
MAC Drivers : 7.1.3
http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4321
Once the drivers are installed you will need to install the Line 6 Monkey application from the links below:
Windows Line 6 Monkey 1.43:
http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4223
MAC Line 6 Monkey 1.43:
http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4222
Once Line 6 Monkey is installed, remove any additional unnecessary USB and firmware devices from your computer when troubleshooting this issue. Make sure to connect it directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind, preferably connect it to a USB port on the rear of computer. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you are able to launch Line 6 Monkey and detect the device.
After Launching Line 6 Monkey apply any updates that are available until you have a green check next to each component.
