GX Studio and Riffworks

Hello
I recently purchased the GX studio and loaded all supplied software (Pod Farm 2, Riffworks and Ableton Live 7). I upgraged the drivers and software using LIne 6 Monkey and the various websites.
Pod Farm works fine (although it has a tendency to crash if it cannot find a tone that is greyed out) but I have a problem with Riffworks. The standard edition (T4) works albeit it keeps asking me to upgrade and when I go to the site it provides the same version I already have. However, the Line 6 version only works in demo mode.
Can you please supply answers to the following:
I have looked into the forums but there seems to be conflicting answers and as a complete novice I am confused and frustrated!
Your help would be appreciated
Regards
Martin

The Line 6 Edition of Riffworks is no longer being updated and does not officially support Windows Vista, Windows 7, Snow Leopard, or Lion.
you have a few options available:
A free version can be downloaded here:
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/T4/
The Standard version is not free:
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10
Sonoma has provided a discounted crossgrade for Line 6 Edition owners:
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guide/index.php/Riffworks_Crossgrade
RiffWorks Version 1 owners receive $70 off, making RiffWorks $59.
RiffWorks Line 6 Edition Version 2 owners receive $100 off, making RiffWorks $29.
Your personal Riffworks data files are fully compatible. Simply copy those files to your new computer to use with your new Riffworks installation as you would with personal data files for any other application.
although no longer supported, you can download the line6 edition here: http://line6.com/software/
by selecting windows XP as your operating system.
Additionally, Record is a discontinued product. It requires a purchased license to run. It was replaced by Reason 6, which also requires a license to run. Riffworks is a simple way to record and arrange songs, while Reason is a full-blown MIDI and audio production software.
