Hi all,
To line6 SW developers, I think that the root cause is that POD500 presets are not fully compatible with
the gear : POD HD pro and footswitch fbv Express mk2 :
if someone has this previous combined gear like me, please try to download a pod500 preset
and try to switch from A to B using your Express MK2 : I think you'll notice a "bug" as the sound level suddenly decreases
it's reproducible.

I need to double check this with my POD HD Pro and FBV Express MkII.
Please note however that the use of POD HD500 presets in the POD HD Pro is not supported by Line 6; it has simply been facilitated, meaning that if a POD HD50 preset doesn't perform as expected when used in a POD HD or POD HD Pro, you are on your own. This is because subtle differences in the architecture between the three devices may cause unexpected behaviour. That said, personally i have not experienced any difficulties at all in using HD500 presets in my HD Pro.

I have had a volume drop problem with my HD Pro with firmware 1.4. Sometimes it starts off quiet, and then if I turn the unit off and then on, again, the volume is OK.
I rolled back to 1.3 and the problem went away. Perhaps they are related. I am using a FBV Mark 1, FWIW.

if the issue persists, I'll downgrade,
but I think it is due to pod hd500 presets which I should rather not download, especially if I expect to use footswitche,
otherwise it runs

Once the flash memory has been successfully updated to v1.40, you will need to perform a Global Settings reset and a pedal calibration using the instructions at the link below:

I would suggest you try this first before rolling back your flash memory.
