iLok license on new installed W7

I have installed Windows 7, replacing XP, and I left the iLok dongle, with my PODFarm platinum license attached.
Now, when I start PODFarm it tries to authorize over the internet (there is no internet connection) and fails.
Why will it not just read the iLok? - I installed the iLok drivers, too.
My Cubase just worked when I reinstalled it - if found the keys on the dongle, no prob.
there is an ilok option when you install, did you select that?
also did you make sure that you installed the correct version of pod farm?
(version 2.5 isnt free if you have a version 1 ilok license)
I didn't see any option: I just ran the installer downloaded deom the Download page: POD Farm 2.51
Here's the relavent bits of my purchase history, and that is what *was* on the ilok dongle before installing w7:

Should I have installed from the CD before the 2.51 installer?
nah, looks like you should have a working pod farm 2.51... licenses look good.
you dont want to install from the cd as it's an old version...
usually when you install pod farm there is a check box asking you if you want to install the ilok version or a version for line6 devices...
that may have been missed...
you might have to repost to get supports attention though:

thanks for the pointers, I'll try re-installing, and pay attention to any questions this time...
Tried that: it didn't ask me anything about authorizing with iLok... Also, from the device manager, the iLok device is marked with a yellow warning triangle: it says the driver hasn't been installed, even tho the iLok driver installer said it succeeded. Any ideas folks? thx!
