Can I move any custom patches from my S3 150 combo to my new Valve MKII HD 100?

I have a few custom tones saved in my S3 150 combo that I totaly nailed.  I just bought a new MKII HD 100 head/cab and would love to copy them over and tweak a bit.  Is that even possible?

You'd have to manually set the same knob settings on your new MKII HD100. The reason for this is that Spider III generation amplifiers have no method of transferring patch data off. It wasn't until Spider IV generation (which the Spider Valve MKII amps are a part of) that the ability to actually export/import patch files via the FBV MKII controllers that have USB functionality became available.

Once the MKII HD100 has patches dialed in and you have an FBV Shortboard (or Express) MKII controller, you could transfer those patches off of the amp into your host computer for backup. If you ever needed to load them into another Spider IV or Spider Valve MKII series amp, you could. Just not with Spider III's. They were too old for that feature.
