My question is: I need the step by step direction on how to run only the effects on my HD500. I have a Mesa/Boogie Mark V and have the HD500 connected through the front of the amp and just using the clean channel.

I have tried going to each patch and turning off the amp on the HD500. I figure there is a better way going through the loop on my Mesa and will sound a lot better. I have been trying a while and I need to finally fix this problem.
