Trying to register a HD500 but keep getting error message 523

I have looked at the forums and it appears its a problem typing in the serial number ,mistaking zeros for the letter O

As my serial number has numerous O or 0 i have tried every permutation possible and still no joy

I have also tried to register using my smart phone over 3G connection ,i then get error 525
