New G50 has a bad cable / connector

I just got a new G50 system last week and I tested it out once at home and it performed flawlessly. I then boxed it up and I took it to a friend's house today so he could check it out (he's wanting to buy one but wanted to hear it first). Anyway, we connected it up and no sound. Nothing. After fiddling with the transmitter for a few I was able to get the signal LED to light up and it worked for a minute but when I moved the cable it cut out. I'm pretty upset that a brand new product would fail like this but at least it didn't happen at the gig. Before I box it up and send it back to the seller is there a way I can get a new cable or two so I can see if that fixes it?
