G30 being killed by its big brother, the G90

Confirmed, troubleshooted, rewired, moved, different channels, every single cable eliminated and replaced. I'm SURE, even though supposedly not possible, the G90 is causing signal dropouts of approx 1-3 seconds with my G30, too frequently for my taste. The G30 works flawlessly when the G90 is not in use by my bass player, and as soon as he gets close with the G90 transmitter my G30 goes into a fit. Before I ebay my 2 recievers and 3 transmitters, what can I do to beef up the G30? Will purchasing  a G90 fix this so it doesnt happen again? My problem literally cannot be anything else. The dropouts are DEFINITELY from the wireless (Troublshot and tested for hours) and they only happen with him playing thru the G90 (troubleshot for hours, too). PLEASE HELP!!!!!

You may be experiencing a "near/far" issue.  Take a look at this tech note   http://l6c.scdn.line6.net/data/l/0a06434d167c14dcad17fe61b0/application/pdf/Line%206%20Guide%20to%20Near/Far%20%28Rev%20C%29%20-%20English.pdf

All brands of wireless can expeirience this problem.  Try switching his transmitter to low power if he doesn't require a large range (50 feet or less).  The possibility of this happening with a G30 is higher than it is with a G90 (or even a G50) because the antennas are further apart.  Are you using multiple G30 transmitters with a single instrument?  Are you mounting them on you strap as opposed to in your pocket?

When the transmitter is in your pocket it is only half as strong as it would be if it were on your strap.  So that will certainly add to the problem.

I am making the assumption that your's and his ARE set to different channels ... correct?  Does this happen all hte time or just when he gets near to your receiver?
