How about trying some patience? This isn't a chatroom or twitter, people log on when they can - different time zones and all. Line 6 respond to queries within 72 hours.
Anyway, I don't think the the Pod 2 has an ESN, so please, what actually is the issue you are having? What are you trying to do? The serial number is written on your Pod.
No it's not written on the pod.
I'm trying to register it.
This is my concern.
Thanks.
Well, there's not a huge advantage to registering a Pod2. You can't buy add-ons so no issue there. All the software you need is freely downloadable. Support is here, free, and requires no registration.
If the serial is not written on there that usually indicates someone has purposely taken it off - did you buy this second hand?
Hmmm very interseting.
No,it was a gift back in the day.
Only stickers on it say PODA 859488 **** **
and made in Tawain...
Thanks,
You have helped put my frustration into perspective.
If htere is no advantage to registering then I'll stop breaking my own balls.
Cheers.
ps- what is the most current tone editing software i should use?
Thanks again.
The only software you really need is Line 6 Edit. This is for editing and storing you tones. That's all you can really use anyway. Just make sure to read fully on installing (Java can be an issue sometimes) and also make sure you have a decent MIDI interface. If you have no MIDI interface then Line 6 recommend the MIDISport Uno as a relatively cheap but robust interface - it is MIDI to USB so can be connected directly to your computer.

Thank you Sir.
A gentleman you are.
I use a Roland UM4 midi interface so all is good on that front.
I appreciate your time and advice.
Hvae a great weekend!
