POD HD TRS Outputs and FBV Pedal

2 Questions:
1. I have an older FBV controller (dual expression pedals from Vetta II era). Can I use it with the new POD HD black bean (I know it will probably have some limitations like when I used it on a POD XT).
2. What is the quality of the TRS outputs compared to the XLR outputs going into a tube preamp? Will I get the same results I am getting using XLR out?
Thank You.
Hi
Nick
Thanks Nick.
1. Yes it's the FBV Longboard and I remember being limited but still functional with the XT Pod so good to know it will work for the HD POD.
2. For live I use my XLR out from the X3 Live to a tube preamp on by board then to the PA. So if I will get the same quality through the preamp using the 1/4" outs then I'm happy. I'd like the desktop so I can have it closer to me to edit.
Thanks for you help Nick. My X3 Live recently took a coffee bath and it hasn't worked properly since ;(
I just saw on the website that the FBV is not compatible with HD POD. Does that mean it will not work at all or will work with limitations?
Thanks.
